JI Creative Studios is where creativity meets purpose.

Founded by Jerrine Ingram Thomas, a multidisciplinary Fine Artist, Creative Designer, Educational Technology Coach, and nonprofit leader, JI Creative Studios blends visual artistry with strategic design to help clients bring bold ideas to life. With roots in both the arts and education, Jerrine brings over two decades of experience in crafting immersive experiences, whether through custom websites, original artwork, murals, or instructional design.

From developing custom websites and murals to coaching educators on integrating tech in the classroom, Jerrine’s work centers on impact, purpose, and originality.

She is also the founder of The Dreamers Code, a nonprofit committed to empowering underrepresented youth through STEAMinG education, creative technology, and cultural expression. Every project she leads—whether artistic or educational—is rooted in community, culture, and transformation.

Artist Statement

 My art is a journey into the world of color, energy, and emotion. I create bold, abstract pieces that aim to ignite inspiration and motivate the viewer to see the world through a lens of possibility and vibrancy. For me, abstraction is the language through which I express my deepest thoughts and feelings, offering a visual experience that transcends the limitations of form and structure. 

 

The use of vivid colors and dynamic compositions in my work is intentional—each hue, line, and shape serves as a reflection of the intensity of human experience. I believe that art has the power to evoke a sense of wonder, to challenge perceptions, and to uplift the spirit. By focusing on the raw essence of emotion, I invite the viewer to engage with the artwork not as a representation of the physical world but as a catalyst for personal reflection and growth.

 

My goal is for my work to resonate with individuals on a deeply personal level. Through its boldness, I hope to encourage others to embrace their own creative potential and to find motivation in the energy of the abstract. I want my art to remind people that there is beauty in the unknown, strength in chaos, and endless possibility in the freedom to create.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe teaching is not just about delivering content—it's about empowering learners to create, explore, and connect with knowledge in meaningful ways. My philosophy is rooted in the idea that every student has the potential to thrive when given the right tools, the right environment, and the freedom to express themselves.

As an Educational Technology Coach, I view technology as a bridge—not a barrier—to engagement, inclusion, and innovation. I strive to integrate digital tools that enhance learning, foster collaboration, and develop real-world skills. Whether supporting teachers in building dynamic, student-centered classrooms or designing culturally responsive learning experiences, my goal is always to equip both educators and learners with the confidence and creativity to lead in a digital world.

At the heart of my teaching is a commitment to equity, relevance, and curiosity. I believe that when we meet students where they are—and give them the tools to grow beyond what they imagine—we don’t just educate. We transform.
